What’s been happening:

Music: In 2000 two original compositions were used as signature pieces in an independent short film. In 2005 my band from the '80's, "Crazy Daze" put out a reunion DVD. This year I am using my newly learned skills in Web design and HTML to create a Web site featuring the more successful musical projects in which I have participated over the past 30 years. Education: I began college again in 2006. I will earn my A.S. in IST and plan to pursue my bachelors. IST has enhanced my previous experience with hands on basic training in SQL, database administration, network design, Web design, programming, and project management. My B.S. in business required a working knowledge and familiarity with accounting, economics, finance, business law, communications, economics, finance, labor relations, marketing and psychology. I was trained as a generalist with a basic foundation in each of these important fields of study. This foundation provided a balanced background that permitted me the opportunity to pursue further specialization as well as the ability to communicate with and manage the necessary specialists in any business organization. IST provides a similar foundation with a balanced technological perspective that will enable successful contribution as both a project manager and an associate. Family and future: My daughter Carrie Anne graduated with high honors and a B.S. from RIT May 09. She earned her B.S. Degree in Print Media and has a promising job in graphic design. I am adapting to the empty nest, rediscovering my wanderlust, and considering a move to Asia.
